Racial justice in our communities...

We amplify the voices of the Black Lives Matter movement and support the fight for equity and justice of Black, Indigenous, and people of color around the world.

Racism has no place in our organization, in our communities, or in the universe we love. The IPS relies on inclusivity and respect for all cultures, and on international collaboration and cooperation. We recognize the deep systemic racism that pervades our world and we commit to listening, learning, and challenging ourselves to do better.

Resources

Our planetarium community survives through combined effort and action, and is lessened by inaction. Educate yourself on how you can respond to racial injustice through the resources below. There are many other resources out there and we hope you continue to do your own research in this daily effort. Any part you can play, no matter how small you think it may be, makes a difference.

The physiological and psychological impact of racism and discrimination affects many. If you or someone you know needs to talk to someone, you can find a suicide prevention hotline in your country or use the free 24/7 Crisis Text Line: US and Canada: text 741741, UK: text 85258 | Ireland: text 086 1800 280, or message them on Facebook.
