Conference Host Planetarium:
heavens of copernicus

The theme "Revolve" is intimately related to the name of Nicolaus Copernicus, but it reflects much more: boldness of thought, a bold perception of the world around us, an ability to look at the world from a different perspective.

The Heavens of Copernicus planetarium opened its doors in 2011 and is one of the most state-of-the-art planetariums in the world. Being equipped with Sky-Skan`s Definiti 3D stereo system, the Megastar IIA, a laser system, and its own production studio, it offers a versatile programme. The planetarium is engaged in a broad program of activity bridging across both science and art, ranging from events organized under the dome itself to meetings out in the city space, all of them enjoying great popularity.
