Welcome to Canada, EH!


Come dressed in your best Canadian-tuxedo (that means an all denim outfit) or your best flannel shirt, or anything red and white to kick-off the 2020 IPS conference in style; with authentic lumberjack demonstrations, a delicious maple syrup shack, craft beer tastings and so much more. 


Of course, it wouldn’t be a true TELUS World of Science – Edmonton party without a science twist! All exhibit galleries will be open to explore, as guests participate in Canadiana-themed science activities and the Zeidler Dome will play host to brilliant entertainment all evening.   


Don’t miss the party where the sun doesn’t set, as we enjoy a truly Canadian Summer Solstice together.

West Edmonton Mall is the largest mall in North American and attracts more than 30 million visitors a year, twice as many as Disneyland.
Don your walking shoes for this self-guided tour as West Edmonton Mall covers a gross area of about 490,000 m2 (5,300,000 sq ft) and there are over 800 stores and services including nine attractions, two hotels and over 100 dining venues in the complex. There truly is something for everyone from the indoor amusement park, water park, ice skating rink or themed streets. Transportation provided.

Elk Island Tour - $50 USD

Located just 40 minutes east of Edmonton, Elk Island National Park is not only an important refuge for bison, elk and more than 250 bird species, but is also an oasis of calm.  Although this tour is during the day, Elk Island is also home to the Beaver Hills Dark Sky Preserve.
Your tour includes a short hike in search of the largest mammal in North America, the bison and then continues with a gentle hike around Astotin Lake to see some of the magnificent local bird life.  Transportation included.

River Rafting - $83 USD

Edmonton was established on the river by early settlers trading fur. Experience the history of this nostalgic city by viewing it as the early settlers did. Once we meet at our location we'll shuttle everyone down to our starting point at Laurier Park. As our guides elaborate on Edmonton's rich cultural history we'll make our way down the river eventually ending it at the beautiful Louise McKinney Park.  Transportation to and from the launch sites included.

Travel the approximately 4 hours to Jasper aboard a luxury motor coach.

Upon arrival mid-day on Friday, you’ll have the afternoon on your own to explore Jasper and area.


Then, we’ll transport you via the Jasper Skytram for a magnificent mountain-top dinner and viewing of the 22:02 sunset. 


Before heading back to Edmonton the following day, you’ll also have the next morning to explore – either on your own or via motor coach to Athabasca Falls.
