CNN Special Reports presents Inside Africa, a weekly program highlighting the diversity of Africa "as seen through the prism of different cultures and religions and the mediums of art, music, travel and literature."

And now science as well, as shown in the segment Southern Africa's Stargazers. You can see the video at https://edition.cnn.com/videos/world/2020/04/15/south-africa-namibia-astronomy-universe-spc.cnn?fbclid=IwAR39n9oqcDCtHSAgxJCd3Coadp2DnBNb7i1U_KCZ86gxCx7BMVwxFx0-JaM

Jaap Vreeling is featured near the end of the video operating a mobile planetarium that is part of an outreach program connected with the Africa Millimetre Telescope.

Jaap, long-time affiliate reprentative for the Association of Dutch-Speaking Planetariums, is a member of the faculty of Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Computer Science at the Anton Pannekoek Institute of Astronomy at the University of Amsterdam.
