Building Universes - New challenges in creating planetarium shows 

Members of the Planetary Association of South America (APAS) will meet at the Planetarium of the City of Buenos Aires Galileo Galilei. The meeting aims to exchange ideas and knowledge for the generation of shows with new technologies and evaluate the next steps for the modernization of the planetarium, within the framework of the Ordinary General Assembly of the APAS.

APAS is a nonprofit organization organization that was created in the early 70s and brings together planetariums in South America. Its purpose is interagency cooperation and exchange through meetings, seminars, meetings and other activities that enhance everyday activity.

Associations are numerous planetariums in the world and are grouped regionally and attend Al VIII Meeting members and other planetary interested. Participants are Argentine planetary La Plata, Malarg├╝e, La Punta, Rosario, Buenos Aires and planetary Chile, Paraguay, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Uruguay and Venezuela. 

Special guest will be present Emmart Carter, Director of Astrovisualizaci├│n Rose Center for Earth and Space- American Museum of Natural History, New York.

Also attending Kraupe W. Thomas, president of the International Planetarium Society and Director of the Hamburg Planetarium, and Eng. Eduardo Hernandez Carrillo, Director General of the Planetarium Torreon Mexico and president of the Mexican Association of Planetariums.Planetariums meet educational work and important cultural. They are leaders in the dissemination and astronomical and scientific literacy. They have the magic to change perspectives leaving everyday concerns to "travel" through space. With planetary shows not only enjoy but that scientific knowledge transcends academia and made accessible to all persons contributing to the collective production of culture.
