The XXIV Meeting of the Brazilian Planetarium Association will be held jointly in Porto Alegre and Bagé, Rio Grande do Sul, from September 30 to October 4, 2019.

The activities will begin in Porto Alegre on the 30th, with the official opening ceremony of the event at 2pm at the Professor José Baptista Pereira Planetarium, followed by the opening lecture to be delivered by the professor of the Department of Astronomy of UFRGS and Director of the Observatory Astronomical of UFRGS, prof. Alan Alves Brito, with the theme Education and Popularization of Science for Ethnic-Racial Relations and Gender.

The first day of the event will still have activities in Porto Alegre so that, on October 1st, we leave early for Bagé. It is approximately 6 hours drive, arriving at the destination for lunch and accommodation in the hotels of the city.
