IPS News was started as a bulletin service for IPS members. Christine Shupla kept it going for years, then I took over over the last two years.

It was originally distributed as a basic text document, but is now published as an Adobe Acrobat portable document format, since the reader is free and available around the Internet. This format permits archiving the publication in our Yahoo Groups area, and permits the use of color graphics and images.

IPS News includes IPS announcements, annoucements about planetaria, planetarium vendors, and news about planetaria around the world.
