From 27–29 July, the Burke Baker Planetarium will be hosting delegates for a Post-Conference Tour in Space City–Houston, Texas. Trips are planned to Johnson Space Center and George Observatory, plus delegates will begin or end their tour at the Houston Museum of Natural Science (HMNS), and other facilities in Houston’s famed Museum District.

Transportation

TRANSPORTATION BETWEEN HOUSTON AND BATON ROUGE WILL NOT BE PROVIDED!

However, delegates flying with United/Continental or their Star Alliance partners, can easily add a post-conference stopover in Houston. For delegates with their own ground transportation, the drive between Baton Rouge and Houston takes approximately 4.5 hours.

To maximize flexibility and minimize cost, we are encouraging delegates to use the Houston METRO Light Rail line for transportation in and around Houston. The hotel and museums are easily accessible via light rail, and fares are just $1.25 each way.

Schedule of Events
