Function: To administer the Eugenides Script Contest as
provided in the Standing Rules.
To promote and co-ordinate this biennial competition for IPS members that encourages excellence in planetarium show production. Scripts are judged by three people from the profession as chosen by the committee Chair. All scripts remain the authorZs property, but the two winning scripts will be published by IPS for IPS members viewing. The two winners, First and Second, receive $1500 (US) and $500 (US) respectively, and the funds are provided by the Eugenides Foundation in Athens, Greece. The winners are recognized by having the cheques and a certificate presented to them at the biennial IPS conference.
