Publications Committee

Function: To administer and oversee the publishing activities of the Society, including the Society's journal, the planetarium directory, plus special publications as may be issued from time to time, IPS brochures, and other publications and efforts.

Ongoing publications include The Planetarian, Sharon Shanks, executive editor, and the biennial planetarium directory; special publication "So You Want to Build a Planetarium." Past projects have included the development of an IPS web site, a resource book, and the reissuance of the Special Effects Handbook.
