Function: To solicit members, admit candidates to
membership, compile a current membership list, collect membership
fees, provide a mailing list for any and all notices and
publications of the Society, and oversee the IPS Packets for New
Planetariums effort. The function of Chair has been carried out by
the IPS Treasurer for some time.

Packets for New Planetariums. Function: This committee prepares packets of appropriate
materials (including local affiliate contacts, the IPS brochure,
resource addresses) and sends them to new planetarium personnel.
