Nominations are now open for the three positions of President-Elect, Secretary, and Treasurer and Membership Chairman for 2011-2012. Voting will take place later this year (2010). The new President-Elect will serve in that office during 2011-12 and will be IPS President in 2013-14.
Nominations should be sent to the Chair of the Elections Committee, Martin George, using the email address martingeorge3@hotmail.com AND cc'd to martin.george@qvmag.tas.gov.au. These nominations must be received before this year's IPS Conference in June in Alexandria, but I shall also call for further nominations from the floor at the General meeting of all members at the Conference. At that point, nominations will officially close.
By September, this IPS website will display candidate statements, which I urge you all to read!
